Sample, evaluate, alarm, clear

Connected readings are checked against the recorded temperature range. Existing alarms remain available during a connection outage, but fresh readings require the connection to return.

Two-reading rule
Two consecutive readings outside the allowed range trigger an alarm. This helps reduce alerts from brief temperature swings while bringing sustained changes to dispatch’s attention.

Auto-clear and acknowledge
When temperatures return to the band the alarm clears itself. A dispatcher can acknowledge first with a note the driver sees, so the truck knows help is coming before the number recovers.

A rising line is its own signal
A steady climb across consecutive reads needs a different response than a brief swing around the setpoint. FleetPath makes the trend visible so a dispatcher can act on the condition, not just the number.

A temperature-controlled load is not auto-assigned to a truck FleetPath knows is not a reefer. The pre-departure readiness check is the second guard before the truck rolls.

Setpoint, return-air temperature, and an in-range flag can be shared on a status view aged about ten minutes, with no margin or cost data exposed.

Multi-temp units keep setpoint and min/max readings per compartment. A Thermo King, Carrier, or Samsara download or log is read into the record as a document, without averaging the zones together.
